Rincón is known as "The Surfing Capital of the Caribbean" and also as "The Town of Beautiful Sunsets." 

The town of Rincón is located in the Western Coastal Valley, west of Añasco and Aguada. To the north, Rincón nestles between La Cadena Mountains and a series of beaches facing the Atlantic to the north and the Caribbean to the south. 

The half-dozen reef-lined Atlantic beaches have become a winter mecca for skilled surfers since the World Surfing Championship was held here nearly twenty years ago.

Endangered humpback whales visit in the winter. 

The Punta Higuero Lighthouse was built by the Spaniards in the early 1890s and rebuilt after an earthquake in 1921.

This lighthouse still in use and uses an unmanned 26,000-candlepower rotating beacon.

“Simply Amazing!! This place is just what you see, super clean and everything was perfect! Location was great, can walk anywhere and everywhere you need for anything! Well equipped with everything you need from kitchen to kids toys, beach and pool accessories and so on. My wife and I stayed here for a month with our 4 year old son and enjoyed every minute of it. Jessica is like superwoman, amazing person, host and now friend! The only bad part of our stay was having to leave, as none of us wanted to.. we will be back soon!! Definitely recommend this to anyone!”

“Rincon is a beautiful place and this apartment is right in front of the "balneario beach", where you can see the sun go down every day. Its also a walk to town, where you can find amazing restaurants. It also has Harbour in front and a convenience store. Harbour is a local restaurant (superb) and they have a beach front bar (2 minute walk). Inside the apartment all was perfect, clean and neat. Air condition in rooms and living area, great balcony and super equipped kitchen. It has everything to cook, also a washer and dryer. TV is great, and WIFI is super fast. This is the place to stay in Rincón."

“Jessica and Barry were so kind and helpful! The condo was super clean and had everything we needed, even extra beach towels! The beautiful sunsets were visible from the adorable front patio. Also we were a short walk from town, beaches, and great food. They also were flexible when our travel plans changed suddenly! Couldn’t have asked for a better place and more welcoming hosts! :).”

“My girlfriend doesn’t want us to write a good review because she doesn’t want people to book our new favorite spot! But if we’re being honest, we had a wonderful time here. Jessica was great! She even came out to meet us when we were running late and tired. The space was very up-to-date, cozy and inviting. The assigned parking spot and private gated property was safe and convenient. Everything in the apartment worked and we thought the place was even a little bit better than advertised. Conveniently located to many of the local eateries and, we loved Jack’s shack! Also the best coffee in the island is right around the corner at Café To Go. We will be back!
